How to create torrent file?

Today, most of (or we can say all of the) downloads are available on torrent sites. All the software, movies, music videos, books etc, are downloaded in torrent format rather than direct downloads. Torrent file is a great way to share media on the Internet. You can even share large files in GBs to your friends or people's you don't know at all.

To downloads torrent file all you need is utorrent software installed on you PC. Most of the people know how to download from torrent, but they don't know how to create torrent files? Here we are, we now going to see how to create a torrent file.

So how do you do this? Well it’s very simple. Open your favorite BitTorrent client and do the magic trick:

i.e. - utorrent

file > create torrent

That’s all? Well almost. All you need to do now is put in the tracker info and tick some boxes. This can differ somewhat from client to client but it all comes down to the same thing.

Step 1 - File > Create new Torrent (or CTRL + N)

Step 2 - Select the files and or directories

Step 3 - Trackers: This is probably the hard part for most people. But it’s pretty easy, just put in one of the popular public trackers. You can use one or more trackers, but in general one is enough.

Put one of these in the tracker box
Step 4 - Do NOT tick the private torrent box (unless you’re using a private tracker)
Step 5 - Save the torrent and send it to your friends

Step 3 - Select “enable public DHT network” from the dropdown box.

This way you can be your own tracker if the public tracker goes down.

If you want only High Quality search results for your query then in the search field give your query and HD functions with it separated by comma. This will give you either 720p (1280*720) or 1080p (1920*1080 Pixels) search result.
i.e. - The king’s speech trailer, HD
4) Search 3D Video Clips:
For this in the search field give your query and a word 3D separated by comma. This will show all 3D video clips related to your query.
i.e. - Avatar, 3D

5) Search for Playlists:
To search an album or playlist of any singer then in the search field give singer name and a function playlist separated by comma.
i.e. - Metallica, playlist

6) Use of Dual Functions:
You can also mix any of the above functions together to get more accurate search results.

With this feature you can watch previews of YouTube videos whenever you receive a YouTube link in an email.

To enable it go to gmail labs , search for YouTube previews in mail and select Enable and click on Save Changes at the bottom. 

2) Use Gmail Offline With Google Gears

It is a web browser plug-in , that allows you to work in Web applications without internet connection. When you lose your connection, Gmail automatically switches to offline mode, and uses the data stored on your computer’s hard drive instead of the information sent across the network. You can read messages, star and label them, and do all of the things you’re used to doing while reading your webmail online. 2. After installation , restart your web browser

3. Go to Gmail Account , click on Settings , then Labs and enable offline

4.Download your email messages onto computer. In gmail account click Offline

When Gears security warning appear click Allow
 

Choose place where you want to create Gmail shortcut, that allows you to start Gmail while you are offline

Wait until your mail downloaded on your computer.
 

Now, you can use your gmail offline. When you disconnect, offline mode will activate and you´ll have access to gmail.

3) Undo Your Sent Message

Turn on Undo Send in Gmail Labs under Settings, and you’ll see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail confirmation. Click “Undo,” and we’ll grab the message before it’s sent and take you right back to compose.

How to Make Invisible Password Protected Folder

Do you want to password protect your folder? Do you want to make it invisible so that it remains unnoticed by the normal users? Well here is a way to do that. In this post I will show you how to make a password protected folder in Windows without using any additional software. Here is is step by step procedure to create a password protected folder.
  





How to create a Password Protected Folder?

Step-1: Create a new folder (Right-click -> New -> Folder) and give it any name of your choice. For instance I name it as ABC.

Step-2: Now in this folder place all the important files, documents or any folders that you want to password protect.

Step-3: Now Right-click on this folder (ABC) and select the option Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Step-4: Now a new compressed zipped folder gets created next this folder (ABC) with the same name.

Step-5: Double-click on this compressed zipped folder and you should see your original folder (ABC) here.

Step-6: Now goto the File menu and select the option Add a password.

ie: File -> Add a password

Now a small window will pop up and here you can set your desired password. Once the password is set, the folder will ask for the password every time it is opened. Thus you have now created the password protected folder.

How to make it Invisible?

Step-1: Now Right-click on this password protected folder and select Properties.

Step-2: At the bottom select the option Hidden and press OK. Now your folder gets invisible (hidden).

Step-3: In order to unhide this folder go to My Computer – > Control Panel  -> Folder options --> View. 
Switch to View tab, scroll down and under Hidden files and folders you’ll see the following two options

• Do not show hidden files and folders
• Show hidden files and folders

Now select the second option and press OK. Now the invisible folder becomes visible in it’s location. To access it you need the password. To make it invisible again repeat step -1 through step-3 and select the first option and click OK. Now the folder becomes invisible once again.
